We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights — including your rights under federal law.

01 – Information We Collect

What You Provide

  • Admission applications — name, contact info, academic history, and references
  • Event registrations — name, contact info, and event preferences
  • Contact form submissions — name, email, phone, and your message
  • Donations — payment information is handled entirely by our third-party donation platform; we do not store credit card or banking data

What We Collect Automatically

  • Website usage data via Google Analytics (pages visited, session duration, traffic sources, and general location at city/region level)
  • IP addresses and device identifiers through standard server logs
  • Cookies set by Google Analytics and embedded third-party services

02 – How We Use Your Information

  • Reviewing and processing admission applications
  • Communicating with prospective students, families, and event attendees
  • Processing donations and sending acknowledgment receipts
  • Responding to questions submitted through our contact form
  • Improving website content and user experience through analytics
  • Complying with applicable laws, including FERPA

03 – Student Privacy & FERPA

We comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which protects the privacy of student education records. Once enrolled, students have the right to:

  • Inspect and review their own education records
  • Request corrections to records they believe are inaccurate
  • Withhold consent before the College discloses their records, except as FERPA permits
  • File a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education for FERPA violations

Information submitted through this website as part of an application may become part of a student’s education record upon enrollment and will be subject to full FERPA protections at that time. Questions? Contact the Registrar’s Office.

04 – Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This data is aggregated and used only to improve site content and navigation — not for advertising or profiling.

Embedded third-party platforms (donation portal, student login) may also set their own cookies when you interact with them.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on. You may also disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some site features.

05 – How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers — Third-party platforms that operate our donation and student login services, who are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements
  • Legal requirements — When required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our community
  • Institutional operations — With authorized college staff who need access to perform their duties
  • With your consent — In any other situation where you have given explicit permission

06 – Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us right away.
