Degree Program Description

Pacific Northwest Christian College is a fully accredited institution offering two Associate of Arts (AA) degree programs and two one-year certificate programs designed to meet a variety of educational goals.

Students may choose from an Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies or an Associate of Arts in General Studies. Both degree programs share the same strong academic core, providing a foundation in the humanities, sciences, and general education from a biblical worldview. The primary difference between the two degrees is the elective coursework. Students pursuing the AA in Biblical Studies complete their electives within biblical studies, while students in the AA in General Studies have the flexibility to choose electives from a variety of academic disciplines based on their interests and educational goals.

For students seeking a shorter educational pathway, PNWCC also offers a Biblical Studies Certificate and a General Studies Certificate. These one-year programs provide foundational college coursework and are ideal for students pursuing personal enrichment, ministry preparation, workforce development, or a pathway toward an associate degree. Credits earned in either certificate program apply directly toward the corresponding Associate of Arts degree.
